【吉鄉手工糕點客家粽 Jixian Handmade Pastry and Hakka Rice Dumpling】來自花東好水質的糯香 Glutinous rice grown from the good water quality of Hualian and Taidong－臺灣餐飲老店 Long-established Restaurants in Taiwan

粽子這道傳統美食，早已不是端午節才吃的專利。做為兜遊花東旅途中的止饑小點，外帶不但超級方便，且粽葉就是最天然的包裝與餐具，不會製造過多的垃圾汙染花東美好的風景。

「吉鄉手工糕點客家粽」，創立於1979年，超過三十五年「涮嘴」的清香，背後有臺灣傳統婦女殷勤持家的故事。原來，吉鄉早年家境清苦，後來全靠媽媽在眾人熟睡的半夜即起，從早到晚親手包的一顆顆粽子，將小孩一個個養大。現任老闆曾國智說，當時承租的房子很小，擠了一家子人之後，也沒有什麼廚房，只能在防火巷裡搭棚做粽，每逢下大雨、颳颱風，就要趕緊把爐灶廚具收拾好，是這麼辛苦過來的。

Jixian was found in 1979 and has offered mouthwatering dumpling for more than 35 years. In the early days the mother would get up at midnight to wrap the rice dumpling all day and raised the kids one by one. Current owner Guo-Zhi Ceng mentioned that their rented place was very small and there was not much room for kitchen, so they could only build a tent in the alley to prepare the rice dumpling.

行銷海外的粽子傳人，打入新加坡、加拿大

由於口味好、價格低廉，曾媽媽的粽子賣了半年之後就開始洽詢批發，每天透早送往學校、早餐店。孝順的曾老闆自當兵前就幫忙媽媽送貨，從腳踏車、機車，到後來買了貨車，如今已經做到大潤發都有批發，還能經銷海外，連加拿大、新加坡都有吉鄉的「粽影」。

打響吉鄉名號的客家粽，主要是廚房有很多幫手都是客家媽媽，於是開始以當地圓糯米、臺灣香菇、客家菜脯、雪蓮子以及光復鄉農會網室健康豬等，製作客家粽。樸實的材料，吃的是道地的家常手藝，就連紅麴，都是七十幾歲的老阿嬤親手做的，全是客家人最愛的家鄉味，也讓吉鄉三十幾年來獲獎無數。曾國智津津樂道的得獎經驗是「金粽獎」，在強手環伺下，吉鄉用在地金針的花與葉打汁入饌，製成風味獨特的粿粽「翠玉黃金粽」並奪下獎項。這款創意粽將是明年重點商品，敬請拭目以待。

蒸炊飄香的裊裊白煙，引人懷舊，難怪會有歐吉桑感動地說：「我找好久了，這才是媽媽的味道，是我吃過最好吃的粽子。」除了粽子，這裡還有黑糖米糕、紅豆做的相思粽、客家麻糬改良的粿粽等甜食，都是不錯的選擇。

Rice dumpling exported overseas to Singapore and Canada

Due to the delicious taste and cheap price, Mother Zeng started wholesale after selling for half year and delivered to school and breakfast stores. Owner Cen has been helping his mother before serving in the military service. They also sell rice dumpling overseas to Canada and Singapore.

The materials are plain but the taste is true mother’s cooking. Even the anka is the Hakka flavor made by the 70-year-old grandmother. They use few seasoning to present the original taste of ingredients, which is also why the customers have stayed loyal. Guo-Zhi Ceng talks about his award winning experience from the Golden Rice Dumping Award, where he made special “Emerald Golden Rice Dumpling” with the juice extracted from the flower and leaves of daylily. This creative dumpling will become key product next year.

Many customers like the rice dumpling as it reminds them of mother’s cooking and consider the dumpling the best one they have ever tasted. There are also brown sugar rice dumpling and red bean dumpling, as well as Hakkk mocha modified rice cake dumpling available.

Chef’s Hakka Rice Dumpling is made by Hakka mother who produces with glutinous rice, Chinese mushroom, Hakka dried turnip, chick peas, and the health pork from Guangfu County Farmers’ Association.

紫米養生素粽選用壽豐鄉農會紫糯米、臺灣香菇、客家碎脯、杏鮑菇、雪蓮子等，清香不油膩，是想吃粽子又怕負擔的好選擇。
